AVP Community Workshop

Jean Herzog

We at Alternative Vision for Peace are excited to announce that we will be holding a community basic level workshop starting in January. The workshop, called “Shifting Perspectives” represents the first level of training for the Alternatives to Violence Project. We are always looking for persons such as yourself to grow our facilitator base so we hope to have you on board. And, of course, we would love to have you participate even if you decide not to go further.

Our workshops are experiential—no boring lectures! They are for everyone exploring how violence impacts their lives and learning skills in conflict resolution (personal and professional).

The six sessions of the workshop are scheduled as follows:

Monday evenings, January 28 – March 4 from 6:30-9:30 pm

Location: Unity Kitchener, 2631 Kingsway Drive, Kitchener

The cost for the six sessions is $90; however, there is an early-bird fee of $75 for registrations received by January 7th. Bursaries are also available where there is a need.

A copy of our workshop flyer is below to give you more information on the workshop. Please feel free to pass this information along to those who have a heart for this work or may benefit from the experience.

Best wishes,
Jean Herzog,
