From Caterina Lindeman of the Citizen’s Climate Lobby:
Fridays for a Future is a youth-led climate strike, that is coming to Waterloo on Friday, January 11th, from 12:30 to 2:00 at Waterloo City Hall, 100 Regina Street South. Map (Waterloo City Hall is the place where the honourable Bardish Chagger has her office.) All are welcome. For more information and to register, see the Facebook event page Fridays for Future Climate Strike: Kitchener-Waterloo.
For more background on the strike, here is a TED talk by Greta Thunberg, the 16 year-old from Sweden who began the climate strikes last August. She presents a compelling argument that we need action, and then we’ll have hope. (As opposed to having hope first!)

Another event, entitled Stewards of our Future: Protecting What we Love is on Tuesday, January 15th, with Dianne Saxe, the Environmental Commissioner of Ontario.
I hope that you will consider attending one or both of these events.
