Subject: [OHC] pre-budget hearings x-Ont: deadlines, dates & locations included

Ontario Health Coalition | Protecting public healthcare for all Dear Members and Supporters:

This is a reminder and some additional information about pre-budget hearings. The government has announced that the Standing Committee of the Ontario Legislature on Finance & Economic Affairs will be holding pre-budget hearings across Ontario. The Standing Committee has now selected dates for each location. I have pasted the information from the Standing Committee website below.

We are asking local coalitions to register for the hearings in their towns and encouraging all supporters, members and affiliates to do the same. We will provide a template submission for everyone as soon as possible and we can provide all the support you need to make it local and relevant to your issues while echoing the key messages. Could you let me know if you are applying for Standing so that I can be in touch with you about this? Please note the deadlines to apply for standing to make an oral presentation. There is no flexibility in the deadlines and if you would like to present you need to apply asap. To apply, you can phone or email your contact information (as per the notes below) and simply state that you would like to make an oral presentation to the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs in the pre-budget consultations.

Here is the information from the Standing Committee:
