Waterloo is proud to announce that the campus has received the Fair Trade Campus designation. Join us for a launch event to celebrate the designation, sample Fairtrade certified products, and learn more about fair trade!

PANEL DISCUSSION (11:30-12:45)

What is fair trade? Why is it important? Join a panel of experts to learn more about what fair trade means and how Waterloo’s efforts to provide Fairtrade certified options on campus can support fair wages for farmers, community development, and environmental protection.

The panel will feature a special introduction by Vice President Academic & Provost Jim Rush, and will be moderated by the Sustainability Office.

Coffee and tea will be available for attendees, all Fairtrade certified of course!
