Renison and Arabesque host an ‘On the Table’ conversation

Between September 27th and 29th, people from across our region are coming together to talk about the well-being in our communities. Kitchener Waterloo Community Foundation and the Cambridge & North Dumfries Community Foundation, are inviting people to have conversations about what matters to them while they are having food. All of the topics and highlights of the discussions will be collected afterwards – giving us an interesting snapshot of what’s on people’s minds across the region right now!

Renison University College and Arabesque Family Restaurant are hosting an “On the Table” conversation that we would like you to attend.

Our conversation will be around the consideration of Renison opening an Arab Cultural Centre on campus to celebrate poetry, music, theatre, dance and fine art. We want to know if such a non-denominational space is needed and, if so, what role it should play in the academic and cultural community. All voices welcome.

When: Sunday September 29, 2019 from 2-4pm
Where: Renison Atrium, 240 Westmount Road North, Waterloo, N2L 3G4

Refreshments will be provided by Arabesque Family Restaurant. Free Parking.

Admission is free, but please let us know by September 20th if you can join us by emailing Karrie Cornies at kcornies@uwaterloo.ca.
