Hands Off Wet'suwet'en
As part of the International Days of Action in Solidarity with Wet’suwet’en, the Indigenous Student Association of UW invites you to come out to stand in solidarity with the Wet’suwet’en people who are defending their land from forceful paramilitary occupation.

The RCMP with orders from the canadian government are illegally arresting land defenders and driving away media to keep the world oblivious to their violent actions. We will not remain quiet on this major illegal injustice.

Meeting details:

Beginning at University of Waterloo main campus in the arts quad between Dana Porter library and Arts Lecture Hall at 12:00pm.

At 1:00pm we’ll begin walking as a group towards University ave and Seagram Drive.

From there we will march towards Waterloo city hall for a drum circle and round dance.

This event is open to everyone; students, non-students, alumni, and community members (both Indigenous and non-Indigenous).

Bring your drums, shakers, posters, and voices.
